Zorzal cacao is grown in a thriving agroforestry system and bird sanctuary in the Dominican Republic, reflecting a deep commitment to biodiversity and climate. We roast in small batches at our Bend, OR roastery and keep things simple, just cocoa and sugar, so the juicy, jammy profile can shine. It's really good, in every sense of the word.

This bar is made using 100% Bird Friendly certified cocoa from Zorzal in the Dominican Republic. The Bird Friendly certification, developed by Smithsonian scientists, is rooted in decades of ecological research. It guarantees that certified farms are deforestation-free, certified organic, and maintain habitat for birds through either diverse shade trees or protected forest areas.
